A Jackson County teenager is in critical condition after being hit by a car while on his skateboard.
Police in Blackman Township say the 15-year-old was hit around 4:30 a.m. Wednesday on Page Avenue near Watts Road.
Authorities say the boy has severe head trauma.
The teen had been skateboarding in the middle of the dark road early Wednesday, when a driver hit him.
Police say the driver did not see the boy, and that speed and alcohol are not factors in the crash.
