Jackson's Underworld: Many years scaring people

Built on the site of an old Civil War hospital, a local haunted house is entering its ninth year scaring people brave enough to go through it.

Jackson's Underworld's workers begin getting the haunted house ready early in preparation for Halloween.

"We change up probably about a third of the attractions, it keeps everyone coming back if it's different," owner Lance Cuffle said.

Cuffle says people from all over Michigan come every year to experience the scares.

"There's probably close to 30,000 people that come through. Our house specializes in fears and phobias. So it's a little bit different than most haunted attractions," he said.

FOX 47 News's Megan Hiler went through the haunted house herself, and we'll let you see how she felt about it.
