Jackson Police are trying to figure out who shot a man outside the Blair Park Apartments Friday night.
It happened just after 7 p.m. Jackson's Police Chief Matt Heins says the victim was shot once in the upper chest. The 28 year-old man was taken to the hospital and is expected to recover.
Police have not made any arrests. Chief Heins says investigators do not know the reason behind the shooting.
