Police have identified the woman found shot to death inside a home in Jackson Monday as 24-year-old Kadriedra Jasmine Goodwin.
Her body was discovered inside a home in the 400 block of Bates Street shortly before 5pm Monday. An acquaintance found Goodwin's body and called 911. Police say the investigation so far points to Goodwin being a specific target and have ruled out this being a random act.
No arrests have been made and police are urging anyone with information to call Detective Brett Stiles at 517-768-8722.
