The Insurance Alliance of Michigan released the top counties in the state for deer crashes. Number three on that list is Jackson. Last year there were more than 1,300 crashes reported to insurance agents involving deer.
The top of the list was Oakland. As a reminder deer like to be out at dusk and dawn. If you see one, more are likely near by. Most important, insurance agents are warning you to watch your speed in areas where deer like to hang out.
