Around 8:30 p.m. in Jackson County, deputies performed a welfare check on West Main Street in the Village of Parma. It was at the Buddy's Mini Mart.
When they arrived at the scene they found a driver of a Pepsi truck being attacked.
The deputies intervened and were able to stop the attack and break up the incident.
The suspect was taken into custody.
