Jackson City Council trying again to fill 5th Ward seat Tuesday

Posted

Jackson City Council members will try again to fill a council seat that has been vacant for nearly two months.

The Fifth Ward seat appointment is on the agenda Tuesday.

It was supposed to happen last week — but the Council wanted more time.

The seat has been open since Andrew Frounfelker resigned in June.

He stepped down after being bound over for trial on domestic violence charges.

WILX will let you know if the council makes a decision.
