Friday in Jackson, local residents can enjoy the 28th annual Christmas parade.
The parade starts at 6 p.m. and travels down Michigan Avenue from Blackstone Street until Francis Street.
Families are invited to warm up after the parade in the lobby of Consumers Energy after the parade and enjoy hot cocoa and cookies.
The theme of the parade this year is 'A Christmas Angel' and will feature marching bands, floats, and of course, the arrival of Santa.
