Due to heavy snowfall Friday morning, part of Interstate 96 was shutdown.
Eastbound I-96 had to be closed for a jackknifed semi-truck at US-127.
Eastbound I-96 at Martin Luther King Blvd. was also closed for a short time.
Followed by another accident on Westbound I-96 near St. Joe.
And even WB I96 at Lansing Road. Most of the closures took place between 9 and 10 a.m.
There were multiple accidents and slide-offs throughout the area.
