UPDATE (12:45 p.m.) Ionia County reports that the computer network issue has been resolved. 911 and administrative telephone service has been restored for Ionia County Central Dispatch.

Ionia County is reporting that all telephones are down at Ionia County Central Dispatch due to a county-wide network failure.
All 911 calls are being answered by Barry and Clinton counties. Personnel in those counties will forward the call to Ionia County workers via radio.
The telephone outage has also affected non-emergency lines. The network failure is being worked on with no estimated time of repair.
