Ionia County deputies find man who was missing

10:30 a.m. UPDATE:
The Ionia County Sheriff's Office says Edward Wray was found in Ottawa County. His family will be picking him up.

EARLIER STORY:
The Ionia County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a missing persons case.

At approximately 3:45 a.m. Monday, Edward Harry Wray, age 84, got into his vehicle with the destination being Sparrow Ionia Hospital. Wray did not show up at the hospital. Wray suffers from the early onset of dementia. Wray grew up in the Ionia area but has been spending time in Texas visiting family as of late.

Wray was last seen driving a Silver Ford Fiesta with a large Star from Texas vehicle registration in the front left windshield. Wray’s vehicle has a Michigan registration plate however. Wray was last seen with a white t-shirt, blue jeans, and glasses.

If you see Edward Wray, please contact 911 or the Ionia County Sheriff’s Office. Wray has been entered in the Law Enforcement Information Network (LEIN) as a missing/endangered persons.
