Investigators are trying to figure out what sparked the fire that spread to a home early this morning.
It happened just after midnight on West Fairfield Avenue on Lansing's north side.
Fire officials say the flames originally broke out in a car parked near the house.
Nobody was hurt, but the the home is badly damaged.
