The results of one of two ongoing investigations into Ingham County Animal Control is expected to be released sometime Friday.
Ingham County Controller Tim Dolehanty and Michigan Department of Agriculture and Rural Developmentare currently investigating Ingham County Animal Control.
Those investigations began after a Michigan Humane Society report News 10 first told you about found five dogs seized in a dog fighting investigation were not properly cared for.
The Ingham County Board of Commissioners voted earlier this week to suspend Director John Dinon and Deputy Director Anne Burns with pay.
The Ingham County Controller's Office announced Wednesday the shelter's Customer Service and Community Outreach Manager, Kate Turner will act as Interim Director.
It's not clear right now if the fate of Dinon and Burns will be decided once the Ingham County Controller's investigation is released.
But the Ingham County Board of Commissioners are planning a special meeting next Tuesday at 6 p.m. regarding Ingham County Animal Control.
It's also not clear at this time how the Michigan Department of Agriculture and Rural Development's investigation will take.
