SPRING ABROR TOWNSHIP, Mich. — A busy two-stop in Jackson County will be converted into a four-way stop starting Friday.
The Michigan Department of Transportation will be making the change at Dearing and King roads in Spring Arbor Township.
Drivers on Dearing Road currently have a blinking yellow light at the intersection. MDOT will be changing that to a blinking red light. A blinking red light is already on King Road.
Temporary rumble strips and stop signs are being added to alert drivers.
MDOT says the intersection will not close during this transition.
The change is part of the ongoing M-60 reconstruction project.
