The United Way hopes to bring together those in need in Jackson County.
A partnership has been formed between Jackson County businesses and organizations to provide support for local workers.
This initiative aims to remove barriers to help employees in the area that are experiencing crisis situations.
Jackson officials stated that "Two facts drive the success of a community: good-paying jobs providing an effective pathway to financial stability for individuals and families; and a steady, productive workforce providing an effective pathway to business strength and economic growth."
The goals behind the initiative are to strengthen the workforce and help families become financially stable on the way to having a more vibrant economy.
You can attend the meeting to hear more about this project on March 28 at 5 p.m. at the Ella Sharp Museum history gallery in Jackson on 3225 Fourth Street.
