LANSING, Mich. — The Ingham County Prosecutor has issued charges on a 19-year-old man for his involvement with a shooting that took place over the weekend.

Lansing police say the suspect, Marquan Davione Suttle, was arraigned Monday on the following charges:
-Count one of assault with intent to murder
-Count two of armed robbery

On Saturday, Jan. 4, police were dispatched to a home on the 1800 block of Donora Street near Mt. Hope Boulevard at 3:20 p.m. for reports of a shooting victim.

Lansing police said once officers arrived on scene, they located a 24-year-old Lansing man with a gunshot wound.

Police said the victim was taken to a local hospital and is in serious condition.

Police said investigators are interviewing witnesses regarding the case.

Preliminary information suggests this was not a random incident and there is no current threat to the public.

Suttle's bond has been set at $100,000 cash. He is scheduled for a probable cause conference Jan. 17 at 9 a.m. and he has a preliminary exam set for Jan. 24 at 9 a.m.
