Ingham county prosecutor Stuart Dunnings III was scheduled to check into a rehab facility in Tennessee Monday.
Dunnings is facing 15 prostitution-related charges in Ingham, Clinton and Ionia counties.
A judge gave him permission to leave the state for treatment at the recommendation of his provider in East Lansing.
We don't know exactly what he's being treated for.
The terms of his bail allow him to leave for medical or psychological care.
Dunnings is on leave and is expected to be in Tennessee for 35 days.
