LANSING, Mich. — The best time for you to a get a flu shot is right now, according to the Centers For Disease Control and Prevention.
On Tuesday, Oct. 1 the Ingham County Health Department is holding a walk-in clinic at the Human Services Building on South Cedar Street in Lansing.
The vaccine is covered by most insurance plans.
The health department offers a sliding scale for people without insurance.
The clinic runs from 9:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. and from 1:00 p.m. to 4 p.m.
Another clinic will be held on Wednesday, Oct. 23 from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. at the Human Services Building.
