The scandal in the Ingham County prosecutor's race involves the person who used to have the job. And the people running to replace Stuart Dunnings had a chance to talk to voters at a forum on Wednesday night.
They were joined by candidates running to be next Ingham County Sheriff, prosecutor, drain commissioner, Lansing school board members and people hoping to fill four of the county commissioner spots.
We spoke with one of the candidates who says it's a great opportunity for people to meet the people running face-to-face.
"I really enjoy these events because you get to get out and talk to people who really want to hear the views of the candidates and they are really engaged," said Mark Eagle, Lansing school board candidate.
On Thursday, the league of women voters will host a forum for the sheriff, prosecutor, and county commissioner candidates. It starts at 6 p.m. at the south Washington office complex in Lansing.
