Friday afternoon, at a luncheon at the Salvation Army in Lansing, the India Cultural Society presented a check to the Greater Lansing Food Bank during their annual "Feed the Hungry" event.
The event has been a long-standing tradition for the India Cultural Society and it's members. They serve lunch to those in need and present a check to the food bank.
This tradition has been taking place since 1994. The goal has been to raise about $20,000 each year. With generous support of the community, they have been able to meet that goal and some.
