LANSING, Mich. — Michigan State Police's end of the year crackdown on impaired driving will get underway Thursday.

Police officers from around the state will be patrolling the roads during its annual 'Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over' campaign.

Statistics show impaired driving represented nearly half of deadly crashes in Michigan in 2017, where 359 were killed in alcohol-related crashes.

The 'Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over' campaign runs from Dec. 13 to Dec. 31. By Kyle Simon
