LANSING, Mich. — Sparrow Hospital is hosting an "ID the Missing" event, and is inviting family members with missing loved ones to attend.
Friday from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m., family members of missing persons are invited to submit samples of their DNA in an effort to help identify unknown remains.
Those who participate in the event, must be biological relatives and will be asked to allow a non-invasive cheek swab.
As of now, there are 314 unsolved, unidentified remains with cases statewide.
