The Ingham County Animal Shelter reopens Saturday morning at 11. The shelter was closed after reporting cases of ringworm in mid-September.
Officials say all of the animals have received multiple treatments, everything has been thoroughly sanitized, and the animals who previously showed symptoms have been moved to a quarantined area.
Saturday between 11 a.m. and 4 p.m., Bissell will be paying all adoption fees on dogs and cats as part of the Empty the Shelter event.
There will also be gift boxes available for those who adopt while supplies last.
