A 20-year-old woman from greater Grand Rapids is dead after her car ran off the highway, rolled over, and hit a tree.
The accident happened on I-96 in Ionia County near the Jordan Lake Road exit around 2 p.m. Sunday afternoon.
The Ionia County Sheriff’s Department says the woman was driving a 2003 Jeep Liberty at a high rate of speed and lost control.
Witnesses on scene tell sheriff deputies a white Honda Accord may have been involved in some sort of road rage with the driver.
The woman is from Wyoming, Michigan.
