One lane of westbound I-94 in Jackson is open this morning after a series of crashes that left two people dead.
The other lane is closed for re-paving due to fire damage.
The crash happened around 11 a.m. on Tuesday when a semi truck crashed into a jeep near the Parma Road exit.
That jeep was pushed into another semi, which hit two other trucks. The backup caused a semi-truck to hit another jeep, which burst into flames. causing a chain reaction with three other cars.
Two people inside the jeep were killed.
