JACKSON, Mich. — If you're a frequent traveler of Interstate 94 in Jackson, another closure begins Tuesday morning.
The Michigan Department of Transportation is closing the westbound I-94 entrance and exit ramps to Cooper Street for construction work at 7 a.m.
The new Cooper Street bridge will be redesigned and will include new roundabouts on each side of the interstate.
The Cooper Street interchange is expected to reopen Nov. 15. The entire I-94 corridor project is expected to be completed by next spring, MDOT said.
You can read more about the project on MDOT's website.
