An orange barrel alert will slow traffic on one of Mid-Michigan's busiest highways.
It's interstate 94 between the Jackson-Calhoun county line and airport road near Jackson.
Beginning Monday, there will be nighttime single-lane closures for shoulder upgrades, but that's just the prep work for the main event beginning after Memorial Day.
