The bowling pins were falling for a Michigan couple — all of them.
Brian Shidler and wife Nicole each rolled a perfect 300 game Sunday at L & J Lanes, a bowling alley near Jonesville, south of Jackson. They were playing together in a mixed doubles tournament, something they hadn't done in a long time.
Brian tells the Jackson Citizen Patriotthat it was "just one of those things where everything lined up" — and the pins kept falling down.
Bowling is a big part of the Coldwater couple's lives. Brian has thrown dozens of 300 games, while Nicole now has three. Years ago, Brian was bowling in Texas when he asked his future father-in-law if he could marry Nicole.
