PORTLAND, Mich. — The city has just set-up a new webpage to help people who live and work in Portland find help.

It includes resources, like how people can get help from the state of emergency already declared in the area.

Local companies have also stepped forward to help out as well.

It's things like a comedy night fundraisers or stocking up on flood repair supplies. But one is making T-shirts.

Hometown Sports in Portland started making these T-shirts and hoodies when the head of the community fund approached them with the idea to help bring some funds to the disaster relief grant, which helps those affected by the flood

"We had a lot of people in the community that wanted to do anything that they could to help out. With the flooding, there is not much we can do right now. The biggest thing is they needed monetary donations,"
said Amanda May, an employee at Hometown Sports.

You can purchase the clothes by calling the store or going to their Facebook page and sending them a personal message.
