With a growing family the Raders need more room.
"We're just anxious to get the ball rolling" said Kevin Rader. "Out growing our current home so we're going to put that on the market and we're looking to either buy a new one or have one built for us."
With two different ideas Christi and Kevin Rader came to Jackson's "Home and Lifestyle" expo hoping a contractors could help them find a common ground.
"I feel like meeting with several different people we can find someone who is willing to work with us to fit our needs to build us the home that we want" said Christi Rader.
The Raders aren't alone. The home builders association of Jackson say things are looking up now more than ever.
"it is the time to get started on your new home if you're going to do it," said Stephen Baldwin, vice president of the Home Builders Association of Jackson. "I've got a couple of fellow builders here that are in the same situation that we are, that they are starting new buildings."
New homes aren't the only things homeowners are looking for.
"We're also doing a lot of small jobs. Some decks and remodel work and we do paintings and stuff like that" Baldwin said. "People are just, it's spring time it's time to renew after the long winter."
Experts say, since the 2014 housing market was so strong more people are remodeling homes across the country.
Baldwin says he's happy that Jackson is finally getting back to normal, "It's finally back. There's been years where we haven't built a single home and it's been terrible here for a long time and we're just very happy and blessed that it's finally come back to us."
