Members from more than a dozen police and fire organizations from across the state will gather at the Michigan State Capitol on Thursday to honor the lives lost on 9/11.
Legislators have invited local members of law enforcement, fire fighting and military to be their guests at the 9/11 Ceremony in the House of Representatives at noon.
The event will include several exhibits from local law enforcement agencies on the Capitol lawn that illustrate the extensive work of the state's first responders.
