With the recent warm weather it only takes a few minutes for the temperature inside a car to become "lethally hot".
That's why the state put out a warning Friday asking parents to take precautions to make sure kids don't get left alone in a car.
One idea is to leave one of your shoes, your purse or cell phone in the back seat with your child.
You should call 9-1-1 if you see a child alone in a car.
