MASON — Mason will be hosting several festivities throughout the day on July 4.
The Mason Area Chamber of Commerce hosts the largest Fourth of July evening parade in the mid-Michigan area.
The kickoff time for the parade is 7:30 p.m.
In addition to the parade, Mason is holding a car show on the Courthouse Square from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m.
The night will end with a fireworks show at the Ingham County Fairgrounds. The fireworks are sponsored by the Mason Firefighters Association and are assisted by other area fire departments.
