Home owner and Iraq veteran James Prater posted a "terms no foreigners Iraq vet" next to a "for sale by owner" in his front yard earlier this month.
After posting the sign, he received a complaint from the State Department of Civil Rights.
The civil rights department says the sign violates state and federal laws against discrimination based on national origin.
