On Tuesday Sheriff Deputies assigned to the Pennfield Law Enforcement Team searched a home in Pennfield Township. They say they found stolen property, and illegal drugs at the home.
They searched the home in connection to a string of home invasions that were being investigated by Michigan State Police and the Sheriff Departments in Calhoun, Barry and Eaton Counties.
Deputies seized three scoped rifles, approximately 100 rounds of various ammunition, a chest of silver flatware, two cellphones, a digital scale and 4lbs of marijuana.
Firearms and other items will be submitted to the Michigan State Police Crime Lab for fingerprint comparison and DNA testing.
The home invasion suspects are Keith Worthington and Tiffany Denton, they are both in police custody.
