A Holt man who brutally murdered his 5-year old stepdaughter was sentenced to life in prison. Thomas McClellan was convicted of first degree murder, child abuse, and arson in the death of 5-year-old Luna Younger.
The 25-year old stabbed the child multiple times while his wife Victoria King was at work on November 1, 2016. McClellan put blankets and paper towels over the girl's body and set it on fire. He told investigators he was angry Luna interrupted his nap asking for something to eat.
The Ingham County Judge also found McClellan guilty of first-degree child abuse, and first-degree arson.
