Ingham County Road Department is providing the following updates on its project to resurface Holt Road, Deport Street to US-127, in Delhi and Alaiedon Townships:
College Road at Holt Road will be re-opened with a new traffic signal on Monday, August 14.
Holt Road will be closed at the Jackson-Lansing Railroad crossing immediately west of Depot Street for approximately one week starting Monday, August 14, for crossing replacement. Posted detour route will be Aurelius, Willoughby and College Roads.
Although alternate detour routes are available, motorists are requested not to use residential streets to bypass the closure as the traffic volumes would be too high for residential streets. For this reason, Delhi Northeast Street will also be closed at the railroad immediately west of Depot Street.
Overall project completion is expected in September dependent on weather and any other unforeseen circumstances.
