HOLT, Mich. — At least one man was taken to the hospital after a home in Holt exploded Wednesday night.
It happened in the 1500 block of Jacqueline Drive around 11:30 p.m.
The explosion blew debris in the road and yards nearby.
It took about an hour to get the fire under control.
The Delhi Township Fire Chief said when crews arrived the house was half gone and a man was found laying in the yard.
He had burns on the upper half of his body.
He was conscious and alert and is recovering at the hospital.
No one else was injured.
Some nearby homes sustained smoke and heat damage, but no interior damage.
The Delhi Township Fire Chief said it could be several days before investigators figure out what caused the fire.
