A 109-year-old street organ that was sent to the Netherlands for a tuneup is now home in western Michigan.

The Holland Sentinel reports that Leon VanLeeuwen, the grandson of a renowned Netherlands organist, recently arrived in Holland, Michigan, with the repaired Golden Angel.

The organ will undergo final upgrades at the family amusement park, Nelis' Dutch Village, which decided to give the Golden Angel a tuneup to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the theme park's ownership of the organ.

The Golden Angel was originally built as a Belgian dance hall organ. It now has 450 feet of new piping, and its wooden pipes and carved wood exterior will be updated next.

The city of Holland is known for its Dutch heritage.
