A Hillsdale woman is hospitalized in stable condition after a standoff with Michigan State Police troopers.
It happened around 3 p.m. Saturday in Hillsdale County’s Camden Township when police were called for a domestic situation involving a man and woman.
When police arrived they found the woman armed with a long gun.
She pointed the weapon at officers and officers opened fire.
The woman was taken to University of Michigan hospital for surgery.
It's unknown how exactly the woman was injured during the altercation.
