A Haslett man will spend a year behind bars for leaving the scene of a crash that left two people hurt.
Logan Milliman was sentenced in Ingham County Circuit Court Wednesday. He plead "no contest" to leaving the scene of a crash causing serious injuries.
The accident happened back in March in Meridian Township. Police say a mother and her daughter were waiting for the school bus on East Lake Drive when they were hit by Milliman.
The 13-year-old girl was taken to the hospital and released shortly after. Her 42-year-old mother suffered very serious injuries.
A judge also ordered Milliman to pay restitution for medical bills. Prosecutors say that could add up to more than $1 million.
