EAST LANSING, Mich. — The city of East Lansing announced that Harrison Road will be closed just south of Trowbridge Road will be closed starting on Monday, Sept. 2.
The closure is to accommodate an emergency railroad track repair by the Canadian National Railroad, according to a press release.
Northbound Harrison Road traffic will be detoured east on Service Road, north on Farm Lane and west on Trowbridge Road back to Harrison Road.
Southbound Harrison Road traffic will be detoured east on Trowbridge Road, south on Farm Lane and west on Service Road back to Harrison Road.
Motorists are encouraged to follow the detour or seek an alternate route.
The work is expected to be completed by Friday, Sept. 6.
