ALLENDALE, Mich. — A night of violence circulating on social media is not related to the investigation of a student death on GVSU's campus, say their police.
"We have not been made aware of any other fatalities or major cases involving our campus." the GVSU police said. "We are working diligently to review relevant evidence related to this investigation."
In a release sent to students the police say video of a fight happening off campus is "entirely separate" from the investigation. and being handled by the Ottawa County Sheriff's Office.
