Posted

Environmental groups are expected to demand state lawmakers take action on legislation aimed at addressing water contamination issues in Michigan on Tuesday.

Environmentalists, as well as people who've been impacted by PFAS contamination, will head to the state Capitol in Lansing at 9:30 to have their voices heard.

PFAS is a family of contaminants that have been polluting water across the state.

Environmentalists are hoping for legislation to address the issue will happen during the lame duck session in Lansing.
