A group trying to get an online child abuse registry for Michigan held a rally outside the state capitol today.
They call themselves Dominick's Warriors and they want lawmakers to pass Wyatt's law.
The idea it to make it just like the sex offender registry so parents can search for and keep track of child abusers.
"Child abuse is an epidemic and we need to do something about it. We need to change some outdated laws and protect our children, our future," said Cheryl Scott from Dominick's Warriors.
Wyatt's law is named for a little boy who was severely beaten in 2013 and has permanent injuries.
Dominick's Warriors are named after Dominick Calhoun, a five-year-old who was murdered in 2010.
They were able to get the legislature to pass a law two years later that mandated tougher sentenced for child abusers.
