The people trying to get marijuana legalization on the November ballot say they have more than enough petition signatures.

MI Legalize needs roughly 253,000 signatures. On Tuesday, the group announced it has collected more than 300,000.

Volunteers will keep gathering signatures until June 1st to give the movement a buffer.

The proposal would allow people 21 and older to grow and use marijuana on private property. It would also allow licensed marijuana shops and a 10% tax on recreational sales.
