LANSING, Mich. — The Jackson County Chamber of Commerce would like to congratulate Jackson Public Schools (JPS) on the Groundbreaking of their new Jackson High School Aquatic Center on Thursday, November 14th. The event took place at Jackson High School, 544 Wildwood Ave., Jackson, MI 49201.
JPS invited the public to celebrate the Groundbreaking of the Jackson High School Aquatic Center. Superintendent Jeff Beal addressed the crowd with excitement over the future of Jackson High School with the new Aquatic Center and safe secure entryways. Mayor Dobies was also on hand to congratulate JPS on their groundbreaking and he shows appreciation for the collaboration between the City of Jackson and JPS. The group picked up the shovels, dug into the dirt and yelled with excitement “believe the hype.” Hot cider, coffee and hot chocolate was served with delicious treats.
"Jackson Public Schools is grateful for the community's participation in today's groundbreaking event at Jackson High School. We are excited to provide a place where our community can come together to enjoy the Aquatic facility and reap the benefits of our 21st century learning environments." Kriss Giannetti, JPS Director of Communication said.
