A groundbreaking ceremony is set to happen Thursday afternoon for a new elementary school in East Lansing.
The money used to rebuild Whitehills Elementary School and four other schools in East Lansing after voters approved a nearly $94 million bond proposal back in 2017.
Thursday's ceremony at Whitehills Elementary School on 621 Pebblebrook Lane in East Lansing at 3:10 p.m.
The elementary school is expected to be ready by the fall of 2020.
