The man charged with killing Lansing Firefighter Dennis Rodeman is scheduled to be at a plea hearing Thursday.
Ingham County Prosecutors say Grant Taylor purposely hit Rodeman with his truck while the firefighter was collecting donations for charity on September 9, 2015. Investigators say Taylor was angry because firefighters were slowing down traffic near the corner of Jolly and Cedar Streets in Lansing.
Prosecutors have not said what he will plead to. The 24-year-old is charged with murder, failing to stop at the scene of a personal injury accident causing death, and two counts of third degree fleeing and eluding.
The hearing is scheduled for 2 p.m.
