The man accused of killing a Lansing firefighter by running him down with his car has been found competent to stand trial.
Court documents show Ingham County Judge Clinton Canady made the ruling today, and set a trial date of September 5.
24-year-old Grant Taylor is charged with open murder in the 2015 death of Dennis Rodeman.

But, a second review last year showed he was unable to assist in his defense.
This new report shows he's now able to understand the case against him.
